The Secret to Youth

Would you like to know how to stay young without it costing you an arm and a leg in products or surgery? It won’t even cost you a cent. Impossible, right? Well, no, it IS possible. And very simple. Even better, it’s fun! What is it? Playing. That’s right. Do you remember how to play?

You don’t have time to play, you say? Really? You truly spend your whole day working until you go to bed? I doubt it. If you count the time spent watching TV, texting, surfing the Net, Facebook, etc., you’ll realize you don’t spend all your time working. You find the time to do other things. The problem is, these activities are not beneficial to your physical and mental well-being. When we play, we move, our brain is activated, we laugh, we have fun, we interact, we cultivate friendships, we feel good physically, we feel blessed.

Your face reflects how you feel inside. If you feel young and act like a young person, you will look young.

It can be as simple as playing with your kids or grandkids, a board game with your family or friends, badminton or volley-ball, laughing with friends, coloring, singing, playing a musical instrument, bike riding, swimming, playing in the waterslides, hiking in a forest, counting the stars in the sky on a clear night or even dancing in the rain!

“We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” – George Bernard Shaw

Today, I’m going to take a bike ride. How about you? What fun activity will you do today?
