Doing what you love

Are you doing what you love? Are you doing what makes your heart sing? Or are you in a job for the money? Too often, we fall into the money trap – the financial lack trap. That’s not surprising, considering this is a recurring theme in news. The thing is, if you do something you love, you’re happy every day, and when you’re happy, the money always comes.

I love this quote from Jim Carey: “If you give up on your dream, what else is there?” Indeed, what else is there? I believe each of us was given distinctive talents and it’s our duty to use these talents to bring something to the world we live in, to leave our mark. When we live our dream, that’s exactly what we do; we are using that gift, that talent. We also feel more satisfaction, joy, peace, freedom and empowerment.

If you’re not using the gift, the talent you were given, it’s time to look in the mirror and ask yourself: “Am I happy?” If the answer is No, then it’s time to make a change. Because if you’re not happy, it’s affecting your relationships. You’re a model for your children and the people around you. Children don’t learn by what you teach them with words, they learn by watching what you do. They do what we do. If you’re unhappy, you’re also affecting your health, your career, your life as a whole. And the only thing that’s stopping you, is you.

If you’re ready to move towards your passion and express through your daily work or your daily activities what it is that lights up your soul, I invite you to check out the “Live Your Dream” life coaching program I’ve created to help you do exactly that.

Give it a try. What do you have to lose except stress and worry?
